JAILS - Prison Nurseries Allow Inmates to Live with Babies
Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in New York is one of the very few prisons nationwide that allow inmate mothers and babies to live together. In most prisons, babies born behind bars are given up to a relative or foster care within a day.
