Kazakh Company Showcases ‘World’s Most Expensive Chocolates’

They're described as “the most expensive chocolates in the world" – and with a price tag of $14,000 for a collection of six, that title may be entirely justified.
Kazakh company The Ross Limited has launched a new hexagonal box of six chocolate pieces. Each piece of chocolate symbolizes the natural elements with different geometric shapes – a tetrahedron for fire, an octahedron for air, a cube for earth, and the 20-faced icosahedron for water.
There is also a 12-sided dodecahedron to represent ether and a further shape, described as a “scope", to represent vacuum. The gifting chocolates are all encrusted with gold, which explains the lofty price point, and each client will have their own star on the company's website. Fewer than 1,000 copies will be produced from each collection and they will never be repeated, The Ross Limited said, meaning each consumer will own a one-in-seven-million collectible.
The chocolates are inspired by classic movie stars such as Vivien Leigh, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.
The Ross Limited founder Adilkhan Sartayev said: “These three superstars throughout their lives showed us an example of creating an absolute beauty. This is our value, and that is why we dedicate our gifts for them. The whole scheme of our brand is designed in accordance with the 'divine proportion', the golden section. Great artists and the creators of history have used the ratio of the 'golden section'. Every detail is absolutely essential for us, as we want to make the best chocolate in the world."
