L'aver visto in web l'immagine postata da ISIL circa il giustiziare 25 soldati siriani presi prigionieri, da ragazzini di poco più 14 anni, nell'anfiteatro di Palyra, lascia molto a riflettere. L'utilizzo di questo anfiteatro vuole probabilmente significare sfida su tutti i fronti e supremazia, proprio come succedeva nell'epoca dei romani. Quello che lascia interdetti è il fatto che chi ha giustiziato i soldati erano ragazzi, sicuramente minorenni, messi alla prova della mascolinità, della forza e della capacità di uccidere, ossia a compiere quello che noi chiamiamo omicidio di massa, ma che per loro significa segno di forza, di potere.
Non si può dire che l'azione sia riconducibile alla religione, perchè pure i Crociati, all'epoca, fecero le stesse cose; la differenza sta qui nella barbarie, che non ha nulla da spartire con l'Islam e il fenomeno deve essere studiato a fondo, per essere eliminato. Dietro di loro qualcuno che li arma deve esserci, e davanti a loro qualcuno da vendicare sicuramente c'è. Sta ora a noi tutti valutare cosa stia accadendo dal giorno 11 settembre in poi e far terminare un inutile scempio che non giova a nessuna delle parti.

Having seen in the web image posted by ISIL executed about 25 Syrian soldiers taken prisoner, by kids of just over 14 years, in the amphitheater of Palyra, it leaves a lot to think about. Use of this amphitheater wants probably mean challenge on all fronts and leadership, just as they did in the era of the Romans. What puzzled is the fact that those who executed the soldiers were boys, definitely underage, tested masculinity, strength and ability to kill, or to make what we call mass murder, but by their means sign of strength, of power..
We cannot say that the action is due to religion, because even the Crusaders, at the time, they did the same thing; the difference lies here in the barbarism that has nothing to do with Islam and must be studied in depth, to be eliminated. Behind them, there must be someone who arms them, and before them someone to avenge definitely there. It is now up to all of us to evaluate what is happening from 11 September onwards and to end a useless mess that does not benefit any of the parties.
