Halliburton и Baker Hughes отказались от слияния - economy
Американские нефтесервисные компании Halliburton и Baker Hughes расторгнули соглашение о слиянии Стоимость этой сделки оценивалась в 28 млрд долларов. Эта сделка получила негативную оценку со стороны Министерства юстиции США и Европейской комиссии.
По их мнению, слияние второй и третей нефтесервисных компаний мира поставило бы под угрозу конкуренцию и негативно отразилось бы на интересах потребителей.

На Евровидении уравняли флаги Палестины и ИГИЛ
Скандал на Евровидении почти за неделю до полуфинала. На вебсайте песенного конкурса появился документ, в котором говорится, что на Евровидении могут быть подняты лишь флаги государств-членов ООН и тех, кто принимает участие в конкурсе. В списке запрещённых оказался флаг Палестинской автономии, который разместили возле знамени террористической организации ИГИЛ. Там же фигурируют флаги Крыма, ДНР и Косово.

Так называемое Киевское море - это водохранилище длиной в 110 километров, образованное после строительства плотины на Днепре. Оно простирается от окраин Киева до устья реки Припяти в Чернобыльской зоне отчуждения. Некоторые жители украинской столицы опасаются, что плотина со временем может разрушиться и на Киев хлынет радиоактивное цунами. Сейчас на дне озера, особенно - на севере, можно обнаружить радиоактивные элементы.

США: Первомай закончился ранениями и арестами

Audiences around the world have seen the images from the Brazilian streets - millions of demonstrators, for and against the president, in dozens of cities, in the biggest political protests in the country's history.
