L'ultimo scandalo a riguardo lo spionaggio elettronico, quello della società italiana che ha venduto in mezzo pianeta i suoi kit di spionaggio, se lo mettiamo nel calderone delle cose che stanno capitando sulla " privacy" (ci vuole tutta a chiamarla tale), lascia tutti un poco impressionati se non preocupati. Sapere che una persona non è più libera di chiamare il proprio consorte o fidanzato-a che sta in America o in Thailandia, capire che la lettera d'amore scritta da mia figlia al suo fidanzato può essere letta in modo indiscriminato da menti oscure, non lascia per nulla soddisfatti sul concetto sicurezza. Tutto ormai viene fatto in rispetto al contesto della parola sicurezza. In nome della sicurezza la Polizia può uccidere un innocente, in nome della sicurezza un soldato può distruggere una città cercando un terrorista. Non solo, ma in talune città del mondo non sei neppure più libero di circolare con qualcuno, perchè non sai se questo qualcuno può farti del male o no. Il Grande fratello è stato realizzato, tutto ora è sotto controllo di un pugno di Potenti che sognano il potere assoluto della mente umana e farci quello che vogliono. Forse non sanno, queste persone, che anche loro un giorno dovranno fare il Grande Viaggio e che dopo di loro tutto potrebbe tornare come prima e quindi tutto quello fatto non è servito a nulla. Forse sarebbe meglio che non ci fosse il Grande Fratello ma tanti piccoli fratellini che ci aiutassero a vivere meglio, piuttosto che carpire innocenti fugaci pensieri di voler rapinare una banca solo per poter fantasticare con noi stessi nel momento di difficoltà della vita.

The latest scandal about electronic espionage, that one about Italian company which sold in half the planet his spy kit, if we put it into the cauldron of the things that are happening on the word "privacy" (and we call it like this!), leaves all of us worried, if not a little impressed. Knowing that a person is no longer free to call his wife or boyfriend-girlfriend where they are like in America or Thailand, to understand that the love letter written by my daughter to her boyfriend can be read indiscriminately by dark minds, not leaving all of us satisfied on the safety concept. Everything now is done in relation to the context of the word security. In the name of security the police can kill an innocent person, in the name of security a soldier can destroy a city looking for a terrorist. Not only that, but in certain cities in the world, you are not even more free to move with someone, because you do not know if that someone can hurt you or not. Big Brother was made, everything now is under control of a handful of Powerful People which dreams to have the absolute power of the human mind and do whatever they want. Maybe they do not know, these people, that they too will one day do the Great Journey, and that after them everything could go on as before and then everything did not help at all. Perhaps it would be better that there was not a Big Brother but many small little brothers that would help us to live better, rather than steal innocent fleeting thoughts of wanting to rob a bank, just to fantasize with ourselves in the difficult time of life.
