Muslim groups fundraise to restore black churches, 'support victims of arson'

Muslim organizations have raised $23,000 to help rebuild eight historically black churches that have burned down since the deadly attack on a prayer group in South Carolina. Three fires are believed to be arson, while the rest are under investigation.
The groups ‒ including Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative, the Arab American Association of New York and Ummah Wide ‒ encouraged Muslims to reach out during their holy month of Ramadan. They touted the connections between Muslim and African-American communities in the US, saying the groups are "profoundly integrated in many ways, in our overlapping identities and in our relationship to this great and complicated country."

The Longest Underwater Tunnel in the World - The Chunnel Tunnel Documentary

The Channel Tunnel (French: Le tunnel sous la Manche; also described as the Chunnel) is a 50.5-kilometre (31.4 mi) rail passage connecting Folkestone, Kent, in the United Kingdom, with Coquelles, Pas-de-Calais, near Calais in north France, beneath the English Channel at the Strait of Dover. At its most affordable point, it is 75 m (250 feet) deep. At 37.9 kilometres (23.5 mi), the passage has the longest undersea part of any sort of tunnel in the world, although the Seikan Tunnel in Japan is both longer overall at 53.85 kilometres (33.46 mi) and deeper at 240 metres (790 feet) below sea degree. The speed restriction in the passage is 160 kilometres each hour (99 miles per hour).
The passage brings high-speed Eurostar passenger trains, the Eurotunnel Shuttle for road cars-- the biggest such transport worldwide-- and worldwide products trains. The tunnel attaches end-to-end with the LGV Nord and High Speed 1 high-speed train lines
Suggestions for a cross-Channel repaired hyperlink appeared as early as 1802, but British political and press stress over the compromising of national safety stalled efforts to construct a tunnel.

Boria, 26, was detained Sunday evening and released Monday morning. He has been charged with one count of mischief causing danger to life. The lawn chair pilot, who says he's a skydiver, intended to parachute himself into the Calgary Stampede. But the weather didn't cooperate and he missed the grounds, landing uninjured a few kilometers away in an industrial field in the city's southeast.
However, the chair and the balloons are still somewhere up in the air.
