Le 16:30 di un sabato di Marzo, a El Toyo, e nel riflesso del Sole sulle tranquille onde di un mare limpido come quello della Sardegna di 50 anni fa, mi sto bevendo un ottimo cappuccino, deliziandomi il palato con un piatto di churros, nel locale " antiuxixona", gestito da due simpaticissime ragazze che servono una numerosa clientela locale.
Per ora il turismo di massa qui non si vede, siamo ancora a Marzo, e la multitudine attuale è rappresentata da persone del Nord della Spagna o di residenti qui, come me. Mi rendo conto di trovarmi in un vero paradiso terrestre posto a sud della Spagna, con a sinistra geografica la antichissima città di Almeria, con il suo porto strategico e sede di una importante Università, e a destra Capo de Gata con il suo parco naturale divenuto Patrimonio della Umanità secondo Unesco.
Messo in una conca, in una cala, in una insenatura quasi ad anfiteatro, il luogo dove ho scelto di stare per scrivere il mio libro, ospita, di sabato e domenica sera, musica dal vivo, con la quale danzare Salsa e Bachada sino a tardi, cenando in localini deliziosi e con gente allegra, spendendo una cifra incredibilmente competitiva.
Antiuxixona, poi, è da considerarsi il ritrovo delle famiglie e degli appassionati del caffe e del gelato, che si possono consumare stando piacevolmente seduti di fronte alla passeggiata a mare, che si snoda tra palmeti per circa due chilometri, lungo i quali si trovano deliziose panchine per pigrare alla sera sotto i lampioni, ascoltando il frangersi delle onde sul bagnasciuga.
Plaza del Mar in El Toyo credo sia il luogo adatto dove tutti dovrebbero fermarsi per provare quella sensazione di benessere e tranquillità che si dovrebbe trovare in una vera vacanza di relax.
